Newcastle Gateshead Map Hankie

An individual cotton hankie screenprinted with a vintage map of the sister cities of Newcastle and Gateshead.

We source vintage maps to inspire our products, thus creating a historical yet contemporary item of interest - featuring for example old railway stations and streets that no may longer exist.

On this map handkerchief, both railway stations are shown, as well as the River Tyne and the four bridges of the time.
The map runs as far north as Brandling Village, and as far west as Newcastle Unite Football ground. It also shows Ouseburn and the Gateshead riverside where the Baltic and Sage are now located.

Each handkerchief is individually printed by hand in the Mr.PS studio in Manchester.

Made from 100% cotton. Size: 40x40cm. Machine washable.

Sold singly, the hankie comes folded and packed in a cellophane sleeve, wrapped with an embossed paper band.

Available in red. Black out of stock.
